After analyzing the pictures from Chapter 3, it was observed that conducting fieldwork is really a very tough job especially when the anthropologists have to live in similar living conditions as the people who belong to different cultures. In the textbook, Robert Dentan who was doing fieldwork with the Semai of Malaysia had reported that even though they were using a water filter and also some chlorine tablets, they were having typhoid and paratyphoid immunizations as well but still there were high chances of dysentery, infectious hepatitis, and typhoid.
